All Ocean Lab sessions are led by Ms. Lizz Howard — a certified North Carolina teacher and experienced international scuba diver with a deep love for the Carolina coast. Lizz brings the same care and professionalism to the shoreline that she brings to the classroom.
Our small class sizes allow Lizz the ability to give every child full attention — nurturing their curiosity and making sure they leave with a genuine connection to the world just beyond the shoreline.
Sessions are small by design — max 10 students, ages 6–10, two hours of hands-on coastal learning in downtown Carolina Beach.
